Spirit of America Tour Jeff Bates sings with Coast Guard recruits
CAPE MAY, N.J. - Jeff Bates, a headliner for the Spirit of America Tour, sings with Coast Guard recruits during the concert encore at Coast Guard Training Center Cape May Monday, Aug. 17, 2009.
The Spirit of America Tour was created in 2002 to bring headline entertainers to America’s stateside Military Bases, as volunteers, to give shows that boost the morale of the men, women and families of the Armed Forces.
Their motto is: A fan in uniform is a fan for life.
