ROMEO 182 WEEKLY JOURNAL
Graduation 1/8/2010

This week Romeo-182 started its weight training and cycle classes. All of us are trying our hardest to prepare for our physical exams coming up next week. We were also able to meet our company mentor, Senior Chief Engle, who was kind enough to come in and speak to the company for two hours. He answered all the questions the company had regarding all aspects of the Coast Guard. We were also given an introduction to some of the survival gear we will be using while in the Coast Guard. The company was excited to jump in the pool and learn how to use the survival suits. An exciting class that Romeo-182 has also started is the seamanship class. We are learning things that we will be taking with us to our first unit. We have also been doing a lot of marching and the company is working together to perfect every aspect of it. This coming week Romeo-182 heads to the shooting range to learn about firearms and the safety involved with it. We are continuing to learn how to work better as a team and are learning from each other.
