Week 06 uniform 182 historian blog

Week 06 proved to be very exciting for Uniform company, as many final preparations for begin. Earlier in the week the recruits learned how to dawn firefighting equipment, and how to put out fires when we report to our first units. Uniform was then issued their military identification cards. It was an exciting stepping stone towards our Coast Guard careers. Having finally received our orders we were able to begin making initial travel arrangements.

At the end of the week Uniform 182 was granted their on-base liberty. In addition to finally being able to make phone calls home. We were also given a chance to relax together, play pool and gather together for a movie. At the end of the week with morale higher than ever Uniform 182 marches proudly into their last twelve days into week 07. We are ready to face any and all challenges that may lie ahead.
