Victor 182 weekly journal |

Subject: Victor-182 week 05 The members of Victor-182 company said a fond and farewell to week 05 of training. To begin the week, Victor was to endure the stress of a crucial uniform inspection. Our company commanders were quite surprised to learn that the battalion commander, Senior Chief Wong, found Victor to be one of the best inspections he has seen in a long time. This burst of momentum was definitely necessary as Victor was tasked with double watch and our time for sleeping was severely cut. No matter, the shipmates worked hard and received another great morale boost. Victors futures were revealed. Our orders came in and we could barely contain our excitement. Soon, we will be scattered around the country performing duties to serve our country-the thought itself could not be more of a thrill! Many members were finally able to contact loved ones for the first time in nearly 06 weeks. We then exceeded company commander expectations by passing the manual of arms test with flying colors. Our defining trait-teamwork-and dedication resulted in one proud section commander. Nothing, I say again, nothing, compared to what was perhaps the highlighting moment of basic training thus far; company colors. After 05 weeks of immense effort, Victor was given the flag that represents our company. Our colors are the representation of the blood, sweat, and tears Victor-182 has put in. Week 06 brings equal hardships and great rewards. With great discipline, our company has the potential to make week 06 even more memorable than week 05. |
